Picking Up Girls In Central America
With less than one week to go on what has been close to three months in Central America it's time to look back and reflect. All in all it's been an amazing adventure. I feel like I've lived several mini lifetimes in the last few months. I've met a vast array of colorful and interesting people. I've learned a little bit of Spanish. I've taken surfing lessons. I've visited volcanoes, rain forests and lagoons. I've made numerous new friends and I've dated probably ten or so different women while I've been here.
I just recently have reached a level of fluency with Spanish that allows me to have very basic conversations. Since I'm on the last leg of my journey I've decided to pull out all the stops this week when it comes to approaching and meeting women here. I've been talking to women every chance I get. This has become somewhat of a hobby of mine over the last couple years and meeting women using a different language and in a different culture has brought a whole new level of excitement to the art of social interaction. This week alone I have gone out on four different dates. Three of them with women that speak very little or no english. It's been a great adventure and for the first time in awhile my life and the path I'm on makes complete sense to me. Learning to meet people and learning how to be comfortable socially is a process that I don't think one ever truly masters. But there are levels of success that can be attained and each level opens new doors and new possibilities.
For me I see the path ultimately culminating in a long term relationship with a beautiful women. Where and when I'll meet here I don't know. It's possible that I already have. All I know is that with each new women I meet and interact with I feel more and more fearless about romance, love and life in general. This brings a sense of calm and inner peace that spills over into all areas of my life. Life is beautiful and so was the women I went out with last night!

The Adventure Begins
So without further adieu, welcome to the Adventures of Artist X. If you've been listening to my podcast you'll know that I've been planning on doing this blog for awhile now. Well I'm excited to be finally launching my blog and to share some of my thoughts along with my music. As you may already know if you are a regular listen to my podcast, The Philosophy And Music Of Artist X, I recently announced a very ambitious intention, which is to create a CD that makes it into the TOP 40 on Itunes in the album category within one year. It's an ambitious intention and it's something that I know will require a lot of action moving forward. So first and foremost, it's about the music.
